2. Overview

This website is a documentation site for OwnRules Unreal Engine plugins. We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This site does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking tools of any kind.

3. Hosting & Server Log Files

This website is hosted by ZAP-Hosting GmbH & Co. KG, Hafenweg 8, 48155 Münster, Germany. When you visit this site, the hosting provider automatically collects standard server log files, including:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access
  • URL requested
  • Browser type and version
  • Referring URL

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and are then deleted automatically unless required for longer retention due to a security incident. We do not have direct access to or control over this data beyond what ZAP-Hosting provides.

ZAP-Hosting acts as a data processor on our behalf. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR is in place with ZAP-Hosting.

4. No Additional Data Collection

Beyond server log files collected by the hosting provider, this website does not:

  • Use cookies or local storage
  • Use analytics or tracking tools
  • Collect contact forms or user accounts
  • Integrate third-party services that collect personal data

5. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) — You may request information about what data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — You may request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) — You may request deletion of your data where legally permitted.
  • Right to restriction (Art. 18 GDPR) — You may request that processing of your data be restricted.
  • Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR) — You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
